Australia

Here is our home movie of Australia so you can all feel like you were there with us! It was an awesome experience to visit another country. I finally got a stamp in my passport, hooray! We stayed in Brisbane and saw the sites in the city. It is a really big city with this crazy river that snaked through it. We saw the gold coast and it's miles of beaches & got hot chocolate cause it was freezing outside! We visited the Steve Erwin Zoo and got to pet the Kangaroos and Koalas! We had lots of good eats including Morton Bay Bugs(they are a crustacean found only in Morton Bay, yeah the name scared me too!) We drove on the wrong side of the road and car- thought I was gonna loose my life! We saw the Queensland University and much more! One of my favorite things was the Jacaranda trees with their bright purple blossoms!

Sneak Peak at Hawaii

Ok so we went to Hawaii like over a month ago, but life has been pretty crazy around these parts. We took Ryker and my sweet mom to Kauai and then to Oahu for a week. We went on an awesome helicopter ride of Kauai, and then Brandon talked me into scuba diving! Ok so water scares the jeebers out of me and especially scuba diving, but I did it. I almost cried and pooped my pants I mean wet suit but luckily I held it together. I am glad I did it, but I'm not sure I will make the venture again. We had lots of good food, Dukes, hula dogs, hula pie, sea food, etc! Ryker loved the beach and managed to completely cover his entire body with sand. He was a good lil traveler! B went deep sea fishing and caught a 50 lb mahi mahi! We had good weather and beautiful sun sets and sun rises(one that cost us our plane ride to Oahu! woops :( We also hit the Polynesian Culture Center, saw the renovated temple grounds, and my old house. We all participated at the PCC and had a grand ole time!

So Ryker's hair was really long and he looked like a missionary with his combover, not bad though. We decided to try a mo-hawk! Here are some before and after shots!

Only in Lehi!

So there I am stopped at the stop light on State Street in Lehi and two cops block off the intersection? We all sit there wondering what's going on, and then we see this.... Yes it is the ridding club in Lehi. And yes our police escort them down the road! It was pretty funny and I just happened to have my camera!

Lake Powell Summer

This summer we went to Bullfrog with our great friends and had totally awesome times and some heated times with the game of Mofia. We celebrated my birthday and Greg's while we were there. It was a great trip and we can't wait until the next one! We also went to Wawheap with the Fam and had a grand ole time with out Aussie friends. All in all we made it home with only 19 staples in the craniums of Mikey and Trent. Good Memories!

Happy 4th of JULY!

Well the festivities included a Parade minus Brandon since he hates them:), Fireworks from the Stadium of Fire (dun duh!) and a Rodeo in good ol Oakley Utah. Ehhh Haww! Ryker is a Cowboy at heart

Ryker turns ONE!

Holy Cow! My baby is one I can't believe it. I guess he is not a baby any more and is now a full fledged toddler! For his b-day we went to the Hogle Zoo with some neighbors. On his birthday we had a party with the fam and hit the petting zoo at Thanksgiving point afterwards. Ryker was so excited to have cousins at his house that he didn't care much about the presents or cake, but it sure was a good time!

Alright I am sick of looking at everyons else's blogs and feeling like I have the most boring world! So maybe now if I blog it will get more interesting :) But there is still the fact that I am really computer illiterate and may not be able to keep up like some of the rest of you. I'll take a shot at it.
